The problem we set out to solve

How we verify deals
Every coupon on HostingPerk goes through both automated and human checks:

A score of 90+ is exceptional; 80+ is excellent; below 60 we'd think twice. Admins can override a score with justification, but the formula does the heavy lifting — and renewal transparency being baked in is why a deal with a brutal renewal can't hide behind a big discount.
How we make money (and why it doesn't bias us)
We're transparent about this: HostingPerk earns affiliate commissions when you buy through our links, at no extra cost to you. That's how the site stays free. Crucially, commissions never affect the Perk Score or rankings — the score is computed from the factors above, full stop. A host paying a higher commission doesn't get a better score; that would defeat the entire point of the site.
What we will and won't do
- We will flag a steep renewal, a missing free domain, or a weak guarantee, even on a host we link to.
- We will retire deals that stop working rather than leave them up for clicks.
- We won't publish a code we can't verify, or inflate a discount off a price nobody pays.
